Celebration on the Mall

Future collectors got their chance to showcase their personal collections during the party on the Mall. Some 60 young collectors between the ages of 8 and 16 were chosen to participate in the "Young Collectors" pavilion.

Many of the visitors to the Mall during the celebration took advantage of the opportunity to become Smithsonian members.
