OBVERSE VIEW Made from the feathers of the Scarlet Macaw (Ara macao) and the Mealy Parrot (Amazona farinosa). Made by the Kubenkokre Kayapo. On the cotton headband, there are traces of urucu, an oily red substance made from seeds of Bixa orellana, which is used by the Kayapo for body paint. 95-1545
