Walter E. Brewer
Mall Shuttle Driver, Office of Physical Plant. Walter is an institution at the Smithsonian. It is estimated he has driven half a million miles in and around the Mall without a single accident. Not only is he a highly responsible employee, Walter is known for his charm, the friendly and attentive manner in which he greets and serves his many riders, as well as for his ability to recall even the most remote details from past discussions.
