
Ellen Farr
Museum Specialist, National Museum of Natural History, is a major contributor to both the Botany Department and to NMNH. As the departmental computer specialist she has been responsible for not only her own technical and supervisory duties, but also for a number of initiatives including the development of a departmental intranet, on-line imaging, the Museum's Collections and Research Information System, a specimen scanning and geocoding effort and the Museum's Gopher server. Additionally, she is available for support and assistance in computer related issues for all seventy staff members.
