Thomas Hollister
Gardener, Office of Physical Plant. For more than a year, Thomas did the work of two gardeners when the position vacated by a co-worker remained unfilled. In addition to taking on extra duties, Thomas continues to give of his expertise, his energies, and his time to ensure that the Smithsonian continues to enjoy and display only the highest quality indoor and outdoor horticultural displays. Thomas is always cheerful and patient with new volunteers and others. His skills lend more than a floral bloom to the Institution.
