Sharon Layne
Library Binding Technician, Smithsonian Institution Libraries, is a true success story. She began her Smithsonian career in 1988 as a participant in the Stay in School program and for eight years has consistently demonstrated herself to be a superior employee. Each new season has brought new responsibilities and deserved advancement for Sharon. More importantly, everyone who works with her comes to appreciate her unfailing good humor and enthusiasm for every new task. Sharon and her story are sterling examples for us all.
