Edgardo Lugo
(1965-1995, In Memoriam)
Laborer, Office of Facilities Management, Museum of American Art and National Portrait Gallery. Consistently an outstanding performer and respected co-worker since joining the Smithsonian in 1993, Mr. Lugo exuded a love for his work and his fellow employees, examples that shall remain with us far beyond his untimely and tragic death in October of 1995. He is genuinely missed.
