Janice Majewski
Accessibility Coordinator, Office of the Provost. Like many unsung heroes, Jan professionally and unobtrusively fulfills the many demands of her position with little formal recognition of her contributions. A pioneer and expert in the field of museum accessibility, her work greatly impacts both Smithsonian employees and visitors. In addition, Jan consults with numerous outside institutions and selflessly gives of her time and expertise to present at conferences, seminars, and training events all over the country.
