Jose Sanchez
Custodian, Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute, Barro Colorado Island. An employee with a superior record of performance as well as many years of service, Jose is recognized for his outstanding contributions, integrity and dedication. He often accepts responsibility for duties in excess of those required by his position so that STRI operations might continue uninterrupted in times of employee absences and other crises. All who know him acknowledge his honesty and his unceasing goodwill toward coworkers, visitors and others.
